Porsche 911

More than 40 years ago, Ferry Porsche conceived a new ideal in sportscar design. From that concept, a vehicle emerged that would become one of the most famous ever created. Six generations later, this has not changed.
When it comes to power, the 911 Carrera and 911 Carrera S once again have their own unique variants. Both are of course available as a Coupé or Cabriolet. With rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. This allows everybody to express not only their own personal idea of what top performance should be, but also their own personal need for freedom. 

The 911 already reveals its nature through its design. Tense shapes, clear lines, precise contours. Even when stationary, the new 911 is like a sprinter waiting in the blocks. The transition between body and rear apron now runs diagonally, thus announcing the power lying in wait inside the rear. The theme continues through the curving waistline to the distinctive front end design. 

One important purpose of its distinctive lines: optimum aerodynamics, which are expressed in a reduction of both drag and lift for greater all-round stability. The result: an exceptionally low drag coefficient of just 0.28 on the 911 Carrera and 0.29 on the 911 Carrera S.
